About
I’ve been a graphic designer for about 14 years. I’ve always been an ‘artist’, and while I love drawing and painting my own work for myself, I also have a love of working with people and helping their ideas come to life. I started my design career by working first in the blueprint industry, then the sign industry, print industry, and most recently, the confections industry- which I have to say is my most favorite.
I love collaborating with the distributor on ideas of what looks they think will sell on an item, and it’s my job to take that information and create something unique that will fly off the shelves. And it revolves- design ideas have to be approved MONTHS before the items come out on the shelves. In September, I’m working on Easter through Summer next year ideas. It’s a good thing I’m in love with all the holidays! It’s fun getting into the Holiday spirit in June!
I pride myself on a quick turn-around time with my art, which is needed in the confections industry. Currently, much of what you see of my work graces the shelves at TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, HomeGoods, ROSS Dress for Less and Tuesday Morning.
I have also created designs, such as logos, business cards, banners and vehicle decals/wraps for local businesses. I try to be as versatile as possible, and to always, always have FUN at what I do. I’m grateful to be an artist in today’s world.
